More and more single women are
spending their evenings and weekends living vicariously through
the characters of their favorite sitcoms, reality shows, and
television dramas. These women would prefer to be out living
their own lives, but many do not know how.
Are you one of these women? Do you want to get out and
about, but after finishing school, establishing your career,
and/or raising a family, you do not know how? Perhaps you were
in a long-term relationship or marriage that has recently ended,
leaving you lonely. You are not alone. Thousands upon thousands
of women are facing the same predicament.
Look into the mirror. No, really. I want you to get up
and stand in front of a full-length mirror. When you get there
take a good long look at yourself. Be honest, do you like what
you see? If not, don’t blame the mirror. Why would you
expect a man to be interested in you when you aren’t too
thrilled with yourself? The fact that you are a single woman
does not automatically mean you are eligible and in the position to start
dating. Sometimes we want to date, but we are not ready to date.
Sometimes we look great on the outside, but emotionally we’re
falling apart. You have to be a whole person before you can
actively pursue another person. Otherwise it will not work.[
